Audi Cars is a German automobile manufacturer that designs, manufactures, markets and distributes luxury vehicles. Audi oversees operations worldwide from its headquarters in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. The Audi brand vehicles produced in nine production sites worldwide.

The origins of the company are complex, dating from the early 20th century and the first companies (Horch and Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch; and two manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer), leading to the founding of Auto Union in 1932.
